Fellowship Committee
My thanks not least, thanks to all those who helped made the Maundy Thursday meal a success: those who made stew, who helped in the kitchen serving and cleaning. There were so many of you: members of my committee and nonmembers. Thank you so much. All our events could not happen with out you.
Then, right after Maundy Thursday we had Easter and thanks to all the ladies that baked or went to the store bakery for cookies. Those attending appreciated the refreshments. I appreciate your contributions which made the refreshments for Easter extra special.
In April we had a breakfast instead of a potluck with a great turn out (close to 40 people) to enjoy the pancakes, French toast and other goodies for breakfast. Then with full tummies they went to church to hear a great message from Caroline.
Ladies, mark your calendars for May 8th. It is our 2nd Mother’s Day tea. The only cost is baby items for CareNet. Invite your daughter, nieces, friends; mother’s to share this event. The sign up sheet is up on the bulletin board.
Nothing else has been planned so far except in October when we are to have the Manatee Bras Band perform. This will occur Saturday, October 16th. There will be admission of nonperishable good for the Food Bank. That is World Food Day.
Blessings to all for a safe summer.
